Reinstalling Chrome Extension

If you're experiencing issues with the PrimeRole Chrome extension or need to perform a clean reinstall, follow these steps to remove and reinstall the extension:

  1. Remove the Current Extension:

    • Click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in your Chrome toolbar (top right corner).
    • Find "PrimeRole" in the list of installed extensions.
    • Click the three dots menu next to PrimeRole and select "Remove from Chrome."
    • Confirm the removal when prompted.

  2. Open the Chrome Web Store:

    • Search for "PrimeRole" in the Chrome Web Store search bar.
    • Alternatively, navigate directly to the PrimeRole Chrome extension page using this link

  3. Reinstall the Extension:

    • Click the "Add to Chrome" (or "Install") button on the extension's page in the Chrome Web Store.

  4. Confirm Installation:

    • Follow Chrome's standard extension installation prompts. You may need to confirm permissions for the extension.

  5. Verify Installation:

    • Once the installation is complete, you will see the PrimeRole icon in your Chrome toolbar (usually in the top right corner of your browser).

  6. Activate on LinkedIn:

    • Open your LinkedIn profile in your Chrome browser.
    • The PrimeRole extension should now be visible on the side of your LinkedIn page, ready for use. If it doesn't appear automatically, try refreshing the page.

Troubleshooting:​

  • Extension Icon Not Visible: If you don't see the PrimeRole icon in your toolbar, click the puzzle piece icon (Extensions) in the toolbar. Find PrimeRole in the list and click the pin icon to make it visible.
  • Extension Not Working on LinkedIn: Ensure you are logged into your LinkedIn account. If the extension still doesn't appear, try refreshing the page or restarting your browser.
